About the Awards

The WEeding Awards highlight those texts which continue the unfortunate trend of misusing the first-person plural. Such misuses — or “WEeds” — feed into and sustain other more-serious problems outside of the texts in which they reside. (See the FAQ page.)

Both for the sake of truthfulness and for the sake of the human person, it behooves us all to weed out our thinking, speaking, and writing. The WEeding Awards are here to remind us of this fact.

Call for Nominations
